Navigation Guide

Learn how to efficiently navigate the PriceSquawk interface to maximize your trading productivity.

Accessing the Menu​

  • Always Visible: The navigation panel is always accessible on the left side
  • Toggle Menu: Click the hamburger menu icon (☰) to expand/collapse

Dashboard Section​

  • Dashboard: Returns to main dashboard for loading widgets
  • New: Create a blank dashboard
  • Save: Save the current dashboard
  • Open: Launches the dashboard management popup to launch your saved dashboards and manage existing dashboards (delete / default)

Widgets Section​

  • Trade Sounds: Real-time tape audio
  • PriceSquawk: Spoken price announcements
  • Alerts: Price and volume notifications
  • Tape Signal: Order flow visualization
  • Tape Pressure: Buying/selling pressure charts
  • Virtual Trading Pit: Market dynamics
  • Timers: Session and custom timers

Library Section​

  • Sound Library: Browse and experiment with all sound effects
  • Patches Library: Browse, load and manage personal and community presets

User & Community​

  • User Menu: Account and preferences
  • Account: Manage your PriceSquawk Subscription and view available data packages
  • Discord: Direct community access
  • Share: Generate a link to share pricesquawk with your own unique code for attribution

Widget Navigation​

Opening Widgets​

  1. Click Widget Name: Directly opens the widget
  2. Symbol Selection: Each widget prompts for symbol selection. Click the relevant tab in the symbol popup to browse and search symbols (dxFeed Futures | dxFeed Stocks | Binance)

Managing Open Widgets​

  • Mute: Click to toggle the Mute for individual widgets
  • Launch: Click to launch a Time & Sales (Tape) for the current widget data
  • Right Click Launch: Right Click to launch other options such as a 1 minute chart which visualises widget sounds
  • Close Widgets: X button on each widget
  • Settings: Click the cog on the bottom right of a widget to open its settings
  • Browse: Within a widget browse preconfigured settings using the navigation buttons
  • Minimize: Reduce widgets to show a minimal view by toggling the top Minimize switch

Top Control Bar​

  • Global Controls: Always accessible at the top
  • Minimize Toggle: Reduces visual clutter
  • Mute Toggle: Instant audio control to silence all widgets
  • Reset Pitch: Recenter all widgets to the center pitch where relevant
  • Help Button: Browse help videos and access documentation
