Getting Started with PriceSquawk

Overview​

PriceSquawk transforms market data into intuitive audio signals, allowing you to monitor market movements through sound. This guide will walk you through the initial setup and configuration.

Prerequisites​

  • Modern Web Browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions)
  • Audio Equipment: Stereo headphones or speakers (highly recommended for directional audio)
  • Active Internet Connection: For real-time market data
  • PriceSquawk Account: Sign up at app.pricesquawk.com

Account Setup​

1. Registration​

  1. Visit app.pricesquawk.com
  2. Click "Sign Up" to create a new account
  3. Provide your email address and create a secure password
  4. Verify your email address through the confirmation email

2. Login​

  1. Navigate to app.pricesquawk.com
  2. Click "Sign In" in the top-right corner
  3. Enter your credentials and click "Sign in"
  4. You'll be redirected to the dashboard

Initial Configuration​

Audio Setup​

  1. Test Your Audio: Ensure your speakers or headphones are working
  2. Stereo Configuration: For optimal experience, use stereo audio equipment
  3. Volume Levels: Start with medium volume and adjust as needed

Market Data Subscription​

  • Upon login, your market data subscription will be automatically activated
  • The green notification confirms "Market Data Subscription Active"
  • You can now access real-time data for supported markets

Dashboard Overview​

After logging in, you'll see:

  • Navigation Menu: Access to all widgets and features
  • Main Dashboard: Central workspace for trading widgets
  • System Controls: Minimize, mute, and reset functions
